Board of Directors

Coastal Electric Cooperative is governed by a policy-making board of nine trustees, three each from the counties of Bryan, Liberty, and McIntosh/Long. The directors serve staggered terms of three years each. These directors are elected at-large at the Annual Meeting of the Members, and exercise all of the powers of the cooperative, except those reserved to the members, according to the bylaws of Coastal Electric Cooperative.

The Coastal Electric Cooperative Board of Directors is elected by co-op members and makes decisions in the best interest of the membership as a whole. Directors live and work in the local community and are co-op members themselves.
